Boil Water Advisory Lifted in New Orleans East
The Sewerage and Water Board of New Orleans, in conjunction with the Louisiana Department of Health (LDH), has lifted the precautionary boil water advisory for New Orleans East. Bacteriological tests confirmed that water in the area is safe to drink and can be used for personal needs.
Water pressure is still not restored to everyday levels. Residents are urged to continue to conserve water, repair pipes, and report leaks. More information.
