49th Annual Bayou Classic

The City of New Orleans will be hosting the 49th Annual Bayou Classic in New Orleans. Preparations are underway for hosting the parade, the football game, and other events related to Bayou Classic.

Bayou Classic Parade Route

The Bayou Classic Parade will roll on Saturday, November 26th at 9:30am.

ROUTE: Parade begins on Elysian Fields Ave at N. Peters St; Proceed down N. Peters St onto Decatur St; turn right on Canal St; turn left on St. Charles Ave; Turn right on Poydras St; turn right on Loyola Ave. Parade ends at Duncan Plaza located on Loyola Ave at Perdido St. 

No-Parking Zones (Parade)

No-parking zones will be in effect on the following streets on Saturday, November from 6:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.:

  • On the river bound side of Elysian Fields Ave. between Burgundy St. and N. Peters St.
  • On N. Peters St. from Esplanade Ave. to Decatur St.
  • On both sides of Decatur St. between Dumaine St. and St. Louis St.
  • On both sides of N. Peters St. between St. Louis St. and Canal St.
  • On the lake bound side of Canal St. between N. Peters St. and St. Charles Ave.
  • On both sides of St. Charles Ave. between Canal St. and Poydras St.
  • On the lake bound side of Poydras St. between of St. Charles Ave. and Loyola Ave.
  • On both sides of Loyola Ave. between Poydras St. and Common St.
