City of New Orleans Monitoring Tropical Storm Zeta

The City of New Orleans is monitoring Tropical Storm Zeta, which has strengthened and is currently forecast to bring impacts along the northern gulf coast mid week. Specific impacts to the New Orleans area will depend on the exact track and intensity of this system, however, we are once again inside the forecast cone. Coastal flooding, heavy rainfall, and gusty winds are possible with this system. Heavy rain will be possible well ahead of landfall.
