Game Time NOLA Updates: City of New Orleans Launches ‘NOLA Ready Public Safety App’ Powered by Motorola Solutions 

The City of New Orleans Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness (NOHSEP) is pleased to announce the official launch of the NOLA Ready Public Safety App, powered by Motorola Solutions. This new mobile application is designed to enhance public safety and emergency preparedness for both residents and visitors. All individuals planning to attend major events in New Orleans, including the Super Bowl, Mardi Gras, and other large gatherings, are encouraged to download the app.

GAME TIME NOLA UPDATES: CITY OF NEW ORLEANS ANNOUNCES ADDITIONAL PHASES OF SUPER BOWL STREET CLOSURES IMPLEMENTED BEGINNING FEBRUARY 3

Today, the City of New Orleans announced the implementation of additional street closure phases in advance of Super Bowl LIX. The streets linked in each individual map, which are located near the Caesars Superdome, Saenger Theatre, Ernest N. Morial Convention Center, Contemporary Arts Center (CAC), and New Orleans Marriott Hotel (555 Canal St.) will be closed according to the phased-in dates as the City prepares to host the Super Bowl.

CITY OF NEW ORLEANS ANNOUNCES SUPER BOWL LIX PARK AND RIDE TRANSPORTATION PLAN

With Super Bowl LIX just around the corner, the New Orleans Super Bowl Host Committee announced a family affordable, convenient Park and Ride transportation plan to ensure that all football fans, New Orleans natives and visitors from around the world, can easily access downtown and be a part of all NFL and Host Committee special events downtown. Veteran local park and ride operators, Gray Line Transportation, are offering this affordable and family-friendly option that will operate on Friday and Saturday before the big game, providing easy access to key event locations near the New Orleans Ernest N. Morial Convention Center and Downtown. This Park and Ride transportation opportunity was coordinated in partnership with GNO, Inc., as part of the organization’s work to oversee infrastructure improvements in the city ahead of the game.

Game Time NOLA Updates: City Announces Phase 2 of Super Bowl Street Closures Beginning Monday, Jan. 13 at 6 a.m., RTA Service Adjustments

The City of New Orleans today announced the second phase of street closures in advance of Super Bowl LIX. Effective Monday, Jan. 13 at 6 a.m. to Saturday, Jan. 25 at 6 a.m., the streets listed on the attached map will be closed as the City prepares to host the Super Bowl. Additional road closures will be phased in and announced as they are implemented.
