Allstate Sugar Bowl Parade

The City of New Orleans has granted a permit to the 2019 Allstate Sugar Bowl Parade.

WHEN

Monday, Dec. 31
1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. 

Originally scheduled to begin at 2 p.m., the parade has been moved up to 1 p.m. in anticipation of inclement weather.

As always, take care in large crowds and report suspicious activity to public safety officials.

PARKING REMINDERS

No Parking 10am - 4pm

  • Elysian Fields Ave. (uptown side only) from Burgundy St. to N. Peters St. 

  • N. Peters St. from Esplanade Ave. to Dumaine St.

  • Decatur St. from Dumaine St. to St. Phillip St.

No Parking 10am - 4am 

  • Decatur St. from Dumaine St. to Conti St.
  • N. Peters St. from Conti St. to Canal Blvd.

Parking enforcement personnel will be monitoring for illegal parking. 

  • Don't block hydrants, driveways and sidewalks.
  • Don't park within 20 feet of a crosswalk, intersection, or stop sign.
  • Park in the direction of travel on one-way streets and with the right wheel to the curb on two-way streets.
  • Call 504-658-8100 for parking enforcement.

TRAFFIC AND TRANSPORTATION IMPACTS
