Events associated with the 2023 ESSENCE Festival of Culture will take place in New Orleans Thursday, June 29 through Monday, July 3. Residents and visitors should expect heavy vehicular and pedestrian traffic in the areas surrounding the French Quarter, Superdome, and Convention Center during associated events. Traffic and parking restrictions will be in place. As always, please take care in large crowds and report suspicious activity to public safety officials.
