More New Orleans Public Libraries Open Through Sat., Sept. 11

More New Orleans Public Library locations will be open Thurs., Sept. 9, through Sat., Sept. 11, for computer/Wi-Fi access, phone charging stations, and air conditioning.

Thurs., Sept. 9

  • Main Library (219 Loyola Avenue) from 9am - 5pm
    • The City Archives & Special Collections will be open from 10am - 5pm. Please contact the Archives with questions or for assistance at 504-596-2610 or email archivist@nolalibrary.org.
  • Algiers Regional Library (3014 Holiday Drive) from 10am - 6pm
  • Central City Library (Allie Mae Williams Multi-Service Center, 2020 Jackson Avenue, Suite 139) from 9am - 5pm
  • Children’s Resource Center Library (913 Napoleon Avenue) from 9am - 5pm
  • East New Orleans Regional Library (5641 Read Boulevard) from 9am - 5pm
  • Cita Dennis Hubbell (725 Pelican Avenue) from 9am - 5pm
  • Rosa F. Keller Library & Community Center (4300 S. Broad Avenue) from 9am - 5pm

All New Orleans Public Library locations will be closed on Sun., Sept. 12.

The Library does not have device chargers and asks residents to bring their own. Plugs will be available on a first come, first served basis for an hour per person.
