Precautionary Boil Water Advisory Cancelled

The Sewerage and Water Board of New Orleans, in conjunction with the Louisiana Department of Health (LDH), has cancelled the precautionary boil water advisory for areas east of Almonaster Boulevard to the Industrial Canal and those in the Lower 9th Ward. Bacteriological tests confirmed that water in the area is safe to drink and can be used for personal needs. Residents are advised to flush their internal and external plumbing by running water through their system for several minutes. More: swbno.org
