Precautionary Boil Water Advisory Remains in Effect

The precautionary boil water advisory for areas east of Almonaster Boulevard to the Industrial Canal and those in the Lower 9th Ward remains in effect. Sewerage and Water Board of New Orleans (S&WB), in consultation with the Louisiana Department of Health, began testing water samples this afternoon, which may take up to 24 hours to achieve results.
