What to do after the tornado:
Report damage and be careful on the road
Call 311 to report downed trees/limbs in the roadway
Call 1-800-968-8243 for downed power lines/poles
DON'T touch power lines as they could be energized
Be careful on roads & if traffic lights are out, treat intersections as 4-way stops
Begin the claims process if you have damage to your vehicle or home
Contact your insurance
Photograph damage to your vehicle or home
Stay tuned if additional resources become available
Organize debris for trash collection
Cut tree limbs and branches in 4-foot (or less) lengths
Bundle limbs and branches
Clear leaves and debris from in front of catch basins
Bag and secure leaves
Place all debris curbside for collection
